thom. is an original, premium men’s salon & barbershop in downtown Vancouver that focuses on hair and grooming in a way that is currently untouched. By combining contemporary hairdressing techniques with classic barbering, we provide some of the most reliable men’s salon and barbershop services in Vancouver, that are both technical and aesthetically pleasing. We believe that it is important to give a thankful nod to heritage and tradition while adapting ideas in an innovative way that is constantly pushing for the future of the growing men’s hair industry.
The name ‘thom.’ pays homage to its founder, Thom Robins, and his vision to bring a salon experience to every man, cultivated by over a decade in men’s hair and grooming both at home and abroad for some of the world’s best men’s hairdressing and lifestyle brands. It is important for us to create a space that is inclusive and elevated, which we like to define as ‘Modern Masculinity’. This term makes up the core of our brand culture and is also apparent in our services, messaging, and space. At thom., we strive to go beyond hair by creating a sense of community and forging lasting relationships with our guests.

Barber/Men’s Hair Stylist

WHAT ARE LOOKING FOR:

• A hard-working, career focuses individual who is passionate about men’s hair and grooming.
• Ideally, you will have 3+ years of floor experience,
• Are highly competent in short and longer length haircuts,
• Possess strong clipper and scissor skills and are able to demonstrate exceptional customer service.
• Beard trimming and razor skill is desirable but not essential.
• Ideally, you will have a partial or full clientele and are able to work full time (part-time considered)
