The name ‘thom.’ pays homage to its founder, Thom Robins, and his vision to bring a salon experience to every man, cultivated by over a decade in men’s hair and grooming both at home and abroad for some of the world’s best men’s hairdressing and lifestyle brands. It is important for us to create a space that is inclusive and elevated, which we like to define as ‘Modern Masculinity’. At thom., we feel strongly about the fact that “masculinity” comes in many forms – there is no black and white, but rather a colorful spectrum of the male identity which is why it is fundamental for us to create with a sense of inclusiveness. For example, hair that is structured yet soft and transitional, communication that speaks to all, and an aesthetic/design that is a balanced and fluid mix of the rough and smooth, colorful and neutral.
