Thom Robins is a multi award-nominated men’s hairstylist and former international barbering educator, known for bridging classic discipline with contemporary design. Since relocating to Canada in 2014, Thom has brought a globally informed perspective to his work—shaped by a decade of experience with leading men’s grooming and fashion brands across London, Europe, New York, and India.
As the co-founder of BEAU Salon in Vancouver, Thom helped build an award-winning team known for its progressive vision, technical precision, and elevated guest experience. His influence extends beyond the salon chair—having served as International Educator for Truefitt & Hill, the world’s oldest men’s grooming company, and consulted for global names like Gucci, GQ, HBO, ESPN, Ben Sherman, and Bloomberg TV.
Now based at thom.studio, his most personal venture to date, Thom continues to push the craft forward—offering a new kind of hair experience in downtown Vancouver that blends tradition, fashion relevance, and individual expression.

Known for his intuitive, attentive approach, Julien listens deeply to each guest—crafting custom styles that feel both effortless and elevated. With over 15 years of experience and a strong command of both cutting and colour, he specializes in lived-in blondes, dimensional brunettes, and precision haircuts tailored to the individual’s features, lifestyle, and personal aesthetic.
Julien spent seven years in Australia working alongside Jaye Edwards as a Master Stylist, where he also served as an ambassador for O&M Haircare. This foundation refined his expertise in both modern technique and product innovation—translating into results that are as healthy as they are high-impact. His signature? Seamless, low-maintenance colour with a natural grow-out—what he calls future-proof hair. Now welcoming guests at thom.studio, Vancouver’s private luxury hair studio, Julien merges fashion relevance with timeless skill to create looks that are refined, wearable, and distinctively personal.
